Jin-sub Han (1956~) is a sculptor, who presents Korean and indigenous pieces, built on humanity. [Bull] is an art work, which is made up of basalt from the beach of Jeju Island and produced with minimum artificial touches by simply attaching stones in natural form. With the piece, which maximizes the characteristics of basalt in natural form, the artist aimed to express original communication between the life of humankind and nature. In addition, it goes beyond the anatomical shape of bull but is manifested only in its symbolic image. The natural and soft texture of basalt meets the familiar shape of bull to suggest oriental feel and comfortable familiarity.
