Stories, Animals, and Poetry: The (Climate) Crisis of Art

2023. 9. 1. Friday

Cinecube 2

Sehwa Museum of Art is excited to present Open Museum in the City, an online content series featuring lectures connected to our permanent collection. This lecture will focus on the theme of biophilia, exploring our relationships with animals, nature, and the environment. Han-min KIM, known for his work that contemplates coexistence and love among all living beings, will lead the discussion, drawing inspiration from our collection, including pieces by Sang-ho SHIN and Hyun-jung SHIN.

In an era where environmental awareness is crucial, we hope this event provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of viewing animals and nature as essential life forms, reinforcing our commitment to symbiosis.

Take a break from the bustling modern world, and join us for an evening immersed in the unique perspective of KIM’s world.
