Edible Pop Art
2023. 6. 11. Sunday
3F Lounge, Sehwa Museum of Art
We live in an extraordinary era where we can summon any dish we desire at a moment’s notice. However, these convenient and fleeting food experiences may dull our ability to find joy in the small pleasures of everyday life.
To rediscover the joy of small but certain happiness, we will create ice cream using methods from a time before electricity. By hand-churning ice cream with ice and salt, participants will experience the simple joy and gratification of savoring a cold, creamy, and sweet treat achieved through this hands-on process.
With the homemade ice cream, participants can curate a plate of complementary ingredients featuring various forms, textures, and colors, enjoying the spontaneous mariage created by each combination.
The plate you create, from the process of plating to eating, and even the plate after the meal, will become Edible Pop Art, celebrating every moment of the experience.
