Sehwa Museum of Art is hosting the “Happy New Year, Hammering Man” project to celebrate the end of the year and cheer for new beginnings while adding vibrancy to the Gwanghwamun area during the holiday season. The museum’s iconic artwork, Hammering Man, a landmark of Seoul and a treasured piece of our collection, transforms into a Santa Claus for the citizens in celebration of Christmas!

This project also expands the concept of outdoor public art into the digital realm, aiming to provide more people with an opportunity to engage with art in their everyday lives, fostering a sense of intrigue and inviting fresh interpretations.
