We are delighted to begin the “Happy New Year, Hammering Man” project, an annual event at the Sehwa Museum of Art that has continued since 2009.

With our Hammering Man transformed into Santa, we extend our warm support as you bring 2025 to a close and a fresh beginning in 2026.

In keeping with the meaning of Sehwa (세화, 世和)—“a world where everyone lives in harmony and peace”—the Sehwa Museum of Art is launching “Hammering Man, Knocking on Love,” a donation campaign that invites the participation of our community. In partnership with the Community Chest of Korea (Seoul), this initiative aims to explore new possibilities for public art while practicing meaningful social contribution.

We invite you to share warmth with our neighbors through Hammering Man. In the coming year, the Sehwa Museum of Art will continue striving to bring art a little closer to your everyday life.
