About Salon d’O
Salon d’O is a band rooted in jazz, tango, and classical music, led by pianist Su-kyung Oh, with regular members Soo-hyun Jang (violin), Ji Park (cello), and Jong-seong Ko (bass). Their debut album Salon de Tango, exploring the multifaceted nature of love and relationships through passionate tango sounds, received critical acclaim and won the Best Jazz & Crossover Album award at the 11th Korean Music Awards. Their second album The Breath of Paris, created during Su-kyung Oh’s studies in France, captured intimate stories of childhood and daily life and was nominated for the same award at the 13th Korean Music Awards. In 2019, the group released their third album Demian, an autobiographical exploration of life and inner voices, marking a new chapter in their musical journey.
